IMLSN Members invited to the Oireachtas
The authors of the 2014 IMLSN report Student Evaluation of Mathematics Learning Support: insights from a large multi-institutional survey were invited to the Oireachtas on the 7th of October 2015.

Ciar?n O’Sullivan (IT Tallaght) gave a presentation on the main findings of the report to the Joint Committee on Education and Social Protection. Ciar?n Mac an Bhaird (Maynooth University), Eabhnat N? Fhloinn (DCU) and Ciar?n O’Sullivan participated in the questions and answers session that followed. Fellow author Olivia Fitzmaurice (University of Limerick) was unable to attend.
Video recordings of both the Presentation and the Q & A Session are available. During and following these sessions, members of the Joint Committee were very positive about the work being done in the Mathematics Learning Support (MLS) community and about the impact that Mathematics Learning Support is having on the student learning experience. They agreed to pass on the information contained in the report and recommendations to both the Minister of Education and Department of Education officials.
